PAV Pneumatic Pinch Valve

The PAV Pneumatic Pinch Valve provides reliable shutoff and flow control for pipelines carrying abrasive, corrosive, or difficult-to-handle materials. It is well suited for slurries, powders, granules, and other process media that can quickly wear or clog traditional valve designs.

A double-acting pneumatic cylinder controls the opening and closing of the valve. Cylinder sizing is selected according to the operating pressure of the pipeline, with a standard minimum air-supply requirement of 6 bar. Actuators can also be manufactured from specialized materials for corrosive or aggressive operating environments.

At the center of the valve is a flexible elastomer sleeve. This sleeve is the only component exposed to the process material, helping protect the valve body and simplify ongoing maintenance. When the sleeve reaches the end of its service life, it can be replaced without replacing the complete valve assembly.

The full-bore design provides a clear flow path when open, helping reduce material buildup, pressure loss, and clogging. During closing, the sleeve compresses toward the center of the valve to provide dependable isolation while helping distribute wear evenly.
