TPH LIDAR LEVEL SENSOR

TPH LIDAR LEVEL SENSOR

The TPH LiDAR Level Sensor provides continuous, non-contact level measurement for liquids and bulk materials in tanks, silos, vessels, reactors, and storage systems. Using a high-speed infrared laser pulse, the sensor measures the distance to the material surface and converts that distance into an accurate level reading without contacting the process material.

Its narrow laser beam provides precise targeting over long distances while helping avoid internal obstructions. A visible aiming laser assists with installation and alignment, and the low beam-divergence design supports measurement through small openings and across irregular material surfaces. The laser may also measure through suitable glass or transparent viewing windows, allowing the sensor to remain isolated from demanding process environments.

The non-contact design is well suited for materials that are viscous, corrosive, dusty, or difficult to measure using traditional contact sensors. The sensor includes an integrated LCD for local level indication and programmable controls for adjusting the zero point, measuring range, units, container height, damping time, and display output. The vendor also states that the instrument can distinguish agitator movement, making it suitable for certain reactor and crystallizer applications.

The standard measuring range is 0.02 to 100 meters, with customized configurations listed up to 350 meters. The sensor provides 1 mm resolution, an absolute accuracy of ±1 cm, and an IP67-rated enclosure for humid and challenging industrial environments. The standard analog output is 4–20 mA, with additional output options listed by the vendor for configured systems.
